Salop Towing at Shrewsbury Wacky Races 2019

The team from Salop Towing ably assisted by Steve from www.clickpilot.co.uk, and Olly, competed in the first ever Shrewsbury Wacky Races. 

Held in Shrewsbury's beautiful quarry park - it was a great family day out.

We borrowed an amazing kart from Ian McIntosh from www.duncanmcintoshtrailers.co.uk We dressed it up with balloons to personalise it and make it "wacky" … a fun idea that turned out to be quite stressful as the balloons didn't enjoy the contrasts between "chucking it down" and "hot sun" - we spent a lot of time replacing balloons! Never again!

We did really well for our first ever soapbox challenge finishing in 5th place! We are most happy with the superb amount of over £640.00 raised for HOPE HOUSE
